Easter Egg Hunt

Today there was a free Easter egg hunt at a park in town. They had tons of eggs and different age groups so the little kids would not get trampled by older kids. We got there about 15 min early and Cambria was very upset along with the other kids because they could see all the eggs and they were almost within reach, but there was a rope they had to stay behind until they said it was time to start. The little kids did not understand why they could not get the eggs yet. Cambria was throwing herself on the ground and yelling EGG EGG! We had fun though, and it was not windy this morning and the sun was out, so it was fairly warm. In one of her eggs we got a coupon for a free popcorn at the movie theater!
Yes, that is me reaching for an egg at the 0-2 year old Easter egg hunt... She would pick them up slowly and look at them and so I was putting some in her basket because all the eggs were gone in about 2 minutes.

Taco Soup

We had taco soup for dinner and we just made it up as we went along. We put:

1 pound of ground beef 1 can of refried beans
1 onion 1 can of mexican style beans
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of green chilis
1 can of black beans
1 red pepper cut up
1 can of rotel
1 can red kidney beans
1 can of corn
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix

cook the meat in the pot with the onions to get them soft. Then add everything and let simmer for a few min. We made cheese quesadillas to eat with it and you can top with sour cream and guacamole. It makes a huge pot!

Horton Hears A Who

We were really bored today, and it has been snowing all day so we couldn't even go for a walk, so we decided to go see a movie. Blackfoot has one movie theater and it always only has 2 movies showing. Horton Hears A Who was playing and we really wanted to see it but we didn't know how well Cambria would sit through it. She went to see the Veggie Tales movie and Alvin and the Chipmunks but we knew this one wouldn't have singing. So we took a million snacks and got a drink with a straw that she could hold, and some pop corn, and she did really well. She sat on her own seat between us and only got a little cranky 2 times, but I always had something ready to stuff in her mouth. We went at 3 in the afternoon right after her nap and the theater was full of kids. We had a really fun time. It was a cute movie!

Cambria Sees Her Shadow

Today the temperature got up to almost 50 degrees and the sun was out, so I took Cambria outside for a walk. It is a perfect street to walk on because it is a dead end street so there is no traffic, and the neighbors have cows and horses for Cambria to look at. She would take off walking really fast and then stop and stare at the ground. I realized that she was watching her shadow. I think she was waiting for it to slip up and accidently move when she stopped. It was really fun to watch, she makes me laugh.

In this picture you can't really tell what she is doing but she was saying bye and waving.
Those are some cows behind her, they were moving around and eating the grass when we walked by.
She always has a lot of fun in the bath tub. When we ask her if it is time to get out she says no. I found a bunch of these foam numbers that stick to the wall at the dollar store.

Funny Faces

More pictures of her cheesy face along with some other stuff... When she sees the camera she says cheese and when I take pictures and it flashes she starts making all kinds of faces.



She has a box full of scrunchies she loves to play with.

Aaron's Favorite Things

This is not me in the picture but it is one of my new favorite things to do.
I love my skateboards and I think that I need more. I got the green and brown deck a few weeks ago for free. It is a pool deck and it is a little larger than the rest.
I love to snowboard, I don't have much time to ride but I still love to ride. I love music. I could spend hours looking up new music on line. New band that I like is Portugal. The Man.
