First week

Sarah Ayla Landon and Corey drove from Utah to see us when we got home from the hospital. Cambria and Ashlynn were so excited to have cousins to play with. It had been a really long time since we had seen Sarah and her kids. It was loud and chaotic but FUN! I have a lot of pictures but I'm not going to write much because Cambria wants me to play Super Mario with her.
They played non stop.

We also stayed up late playing this marble game, I really want to play again.

They were watching netflix on the ipod.
All of the kids were really excited to see the baby.

We gave him his first bath really fast because he hated it. He doesn't mind having his hair washed but he didn't like the rest of the it.
Jaymee Tarea Peggy and I had a craft day on Saturday and this is what I made. I love doing stuff like this, I should do it more. I think they turned out really cute.

Only 2 more weeks until my mom and sisters come, then my house will be full of kids! It is going to be great.

He's Here!

For some reason I thought this baby would come early, but I am not that lucky. I was induced on Tuesday at 40 weeks and 2 days. I didn't get my epidural as early as I wanted to so I was in a lot of pain for a while. After a few hours I had to be put on oxygen because his heart rate was going down during every contraction. It was scary because I could tell the nurses and doctor wanted him out pretty quick. I pushed twice and he pretty much fell out. They had to cut the cord before he was all the way out because it was around his neck.

I was trying to rest but it hurt so bad.
He looks really pale in this picture, like a ghost baby.
Cambria was just dying all day to come and meet her brother. She always wants to hold him. Ashlynn is starting to ask if she can hold him too and today he sneezed while she was holding him and she thought it was so funny.
We let Cambria stay home from school wednesday so that Grandma could bring them to the hospital to have breakfast with us and the baby.

He is my tiniest baby. He has such skinny legs. He was 7lbs 2oz and 20 inches long.
Aaron got to give him his first bath. He was so relaxed and loved it.

Getting ready to come home. So far he loves his car seat, it puts him right to sleep.
I'm not sure if Sarah or Corey took this picture but I love it. He always puts his hands up by his face.

7 Years!

Yesterday was our 7 year anniversary. We spent Saturday looking at new dining tables with the girls and let them help pick one out and then we went to 5 guys for lunch. We had some maternity/family pictures taken and so far they look really good! Happy 7 years to us!

Christmas and Utah

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures Christmas Eve or Christmas Day but we had fun. We got pajamas the night before, ate ham and drove to see Christmas lights. The girls were in bed by 9, it was perfect!
I don't think Ashlynn remembers Christmas last year so everything was exciting to her. She loved ripping open all her gifts. Cambria was happy because she said she got everything she wanted.
The girls pretending to sleep in the chairs they got from their grandparents.
Cambria and her baby Sarah with matching pajamas.
Why do we spend so much money on gifts when a cardboard box is the best entertainment ever?

Aaron made this house for the girls. They love it and play in it every day.
Waiting to go to see temple square.
Cambria was really excited when she saw the temple all lit up.

We had a little too much fun at the museum...

The girls liked the conference center but all Ashlynn wanted to do was run and scream.

Ashlynn really liked the lady who gave us a tour, it was so cute.

Amma came to visit!

I love it when my mom comes to visit. We always have fun just sitting around watching movies, doing puzzles and eating. This time we had a cute baby to stare at also. Thanksgiving day was fun, we woke up and watched the parade and started cooking.
Corey and mom made the most delicious rolls ever. Luckily for us the recipe was huge so we got to snack on them all week.
Corey was a good sport and she stuffed our turkey. Aaron had hurt his thumb and had a bandaid on, so we didn't want him to lose the bandaid in the turkey! My mom had read a story on the internet a few days before about something similar happening. It made us laugh.
The girls had their own table set with the turkeys we made with grandma and grandpa.
The adult table. Thanksgiving was a success. I think it was the tastiest turkey I have ever had.
A few days later Ashlynn fell asleep like this during lunch.
We decided to make some sugar cookies while Amma was here.
Ashlynn was too little last year to remember making cookies. She had fun but her and Cambria's cookies were mostly sprinkles.
I always make their frosting separate because they just lick their knives the whole time.
The night before Amma left we all got to sit around and watch baby Cora. Cambria has been dying to hold her but she is so tiny so we have been trying to keep the kids away from her and not let them touch her too much. They are so excited to have a new baby cousin living so close to us.
Cambria took this picture. My mom put the remote next to her to show how tiny she is. She is so cute!
