COUSINS!

Aaron's oldest brother Kory, his wife Tarea and their kids Kaylor Zach and Abby moved back to Blackfoot this weekend. They came over and we played the Wii and then we went swimming. Cambria loves when they come because they watch Veggie Tales with her and she gets so excited because they know all the words, and they sing along with her. They have also been playing dance dance revolution on the wii and she thinks it is fun to dance with them. Here are some pictures of our weekend with her cousins!


In the car ride home from the pool Cambria was eating some chocolate and I wanted a picture of it because she got it all over her mouth so I said cheese and she made this weird face, and squished her shoulders up. Aaron thinks she looks like slimer from the Ghostbuster movies. But I think she looks like Chris Farley!

Pizza Pie!

Cambria also got this for Easter but I had forgotten about it until almost bedtime. I'm sure Brody will want to see it over and over, sorry Stacey!

EASTER!!

Here are a bunch of pictures from this morning. Cambria had a lot of fun going through her Easter basket. She got bendy straws, books, sun glasses, a purse, a chocolate bunny, and a neclace. I also painted her nails bright pink to match her Easter dress. At church in the nursery we had an Easter egg hunt outside because it was warm enough. The kids got to decorate a paper sack with stickers and crayons to put their eggs in.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today there was a free Easter egg hunt at a park in town. They had tons of eggs and different age groups so the little kids would not get trampled by older kids. We got there about 15 min early and Cambria was very upset along with the other kids because they could see all the eggs and they were almost within reach, but there was a rope they had to stay behind until they said it was time to start. The little kids did not understand why they could not get the eggs yet. Cambria was throwing herself on the ground and yelling EGG EGG! We had fun though, and it was not windy this morning and the sun was out, so it was fairly warm. In one of her eggs we got a coupon for a free popcorn at the movie theater!
Yes, that is me reaching for an egg at the 0-2 year old Easter egg hunt... She would pick them up slowly and look at them and so I was putting some in her basket because all the eggs were gone in about 2 minutes.

Taco Soup

We had taco soup for dinner and we just made it up as we went along. We put:

1 pound of ground beef 1 can of refried beans
1 onion 1 can of mexican style beans
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of green chilis
1 can of black beans
1 red pepper cut up
1 can of rotel
1 can red kidney beans
1 can of corn
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix

cook the meat in the pot with the onions to get them soft. Then add everything and let simmer for a few min. We made cheese quesadillas to eat with it and you can top with sour cream and guacamole. It makes a huge pot!
