8 1/2 months

Ashlynn is now 8 and a half months old and growing fast!! At her last appointment a few weeks ago she was 17 pounds. She is super cute and for the most part a happy baby. I love that she is starting to play more.

We bought a yukon with part of our tax return. We had been wanting another car so that I could go places during the day, and also so that if our other car broke down again we wouldn't be stuck without one. It is an older car but the family that owned it before took really good care of it and we even took it to a mechanic before we bought it. So far we love it and love the extra room. I just have to get used to driving it because it is so big!
This is a cute video but please ignore Cambria smacking her gum in the background. I didn't know it would be that loud. Ashlynn always makes that noise when she hears the horse, she sounds like a motorcycle.

Creepy Crawler

I took about 50 pictures and only got a few that look normal. She makes funny faces when the flash goes off. They are cute though.
I promise she hardly ever looks like this...
She is usually smiley like this!

This is how she crawls. Aaron calls her creepy crawler because it kinda looks like someone from a scary movie sometimes. I don't think she will ever crawl on her hands and knees because this works for her and she gets around pretty fast, also because she never tries to crawl different. It just looks like it takes more effort!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a really good Valentine's Day. Cambria was excited to have pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, and then we went to Grandma and Papa's for dinner, and we had pink bread! Ashlynn looked cute in her new dress. It was a fun day!

Cambria had seen commercials on tv for this puppy a while ago and she was telling everyone that she was going to get this from her daddy on Valentine's Day. She was so happy today, and she named her Daisy.
Papa playing twister with the girls.
Cambria is the best big sister ever. She always tells Ashlynn that she loves her and she has made up several nicknames for her but I don't know how to spell them. It is very cute though.
Ashlynn didn't splash in this duck bath as much as Cambria did when she was a baby, but I think once she gets used to it she will have more fun. She was just kinda staring at it.

The other day I was at Walmart with Corey and we saw this egg and we really wanted it but we didn't want the other eggs in the same carton in case they were gross, so we switched it with an egg in another carton and took it home. It was so weird. The shell was really brittle and thin. You can't tell as much in this picture but it was REALLY bumpy. We were all kinda disappointed when we cracked it open and it was a normal egg. I'm not sure what we were expecting, but we were thinking something would be weird about it.
