For a while I thought Ashlynn was going to be quieter than Cambria but I was way wrong. She has so much personality already and now that she has found her voice she is pretty loud too.
Cambria drew this princess crown the other day and I thought it was really good.
These are for Aaron's birthday. We didn't get to do much last year for his 30th birthday because we were saving for the house but this year we get to go see one of our favorite bands! It will be fantastic.
This is how I found Ashlynn after her nap. She was really upset that I went to get the camera instead of helping her. She was crying in the other pictures, but I just HAD to get pictures first.

Cambria thinks we are going to have Christmas again because it snowed the other day. I hope it gets warmer soon!

What?

So this is what we woke up to today. I knew it would snow again. We were grilling this weekend and now I don't even want to go outside!Cambria helped me make green banana muffins on St. Patrick's Day. At first she was upset because she doesn't like green things, she wanted it pink again like Valentine's Day.
We also had green blueberry pancakes. My baby doesn't seem like a baby anymore. I can't believe she is going to turn 1 in 3 months.
Cambria has been dressing herself a lot lately. For some reason she likes to wear 2 shirts lately. It is cute, and she also has been putting clips in her hair. She says she looks great!

Spring Is Here!

Yesterday was such a nice day outside! We went to Blackfoot for Jaymee and Zac's birthdays. We ate a ton of good food and Cambria got to drive her Barbie jeep around outside. We hope the sun decides to stay!
Ashlynn is growing so fast.
Jaymee and Grandma made a half pipe cake. It turned out really cute and was super delicious.
Cambria could not stay awake for the ride home. She had way too much fun.
Ashlynn loves to stand up, and she uses everything to pull herself up. She doesn't really try to move her feet though, she just likes to be taller.
I love the faces she makes. She wrinkles her nose when she makes this face and breathes really heavy out her nose. It is so cute. I'm not sure why she does it but Cambria did it too when she was little.
It was nice and sunny outside again today and about 52 degrees so Cambria drove around, and I had to practically run to keep up with her, so I got a good workout. It felt good to be outside and get some exercise! And yes, we had to bring Emily with us...
I am always mad because pictures of me don't come out very good, and I think my face looks funny. Well Cambria loves to take pictures lately and she wanted to take pictures of me while we were on our walk so I just kinds stood there and didn't pay attention really and they actually came out pretty good. It is sad that a three year old has taken the best pictures of me.
We went around the block to the church parking lot and Cambria thought it was cool that we could see our house. The house on the right is ours. The little shed is in the neighbors yard though not ours.

Another Sunday

I wish everyone could come to church with us just to watch Cambria. She really is very entertaining. Ok so while the kid is saying the prayer for the sacrament Cambria says in her very loud voice "Is that Heavenly Father? Is he talking to us from the roof in heaven?"

Then, during primary she just could not sit still. She was popping up out of her chair to dance, and she even did the moonwalk across the floor in front of everyone. She sits in the very front row, middle seat so she is in everyone's view.

The Lady doing sharing time held up a picture of a prophet with a long beard and was giving the kids clues and all the kids were shouting out names of prophets they knew to try to guess. Cambria says "Your all wrong. I know who he is.... It's Santa Clause."

At one point the kids behind her were getting kinda loud so she stood up on her chair and was individually pointing at every kid being noisy and telling them to "BE REVERENT"!

I sit in the back with my class and when I can get her attention I tell her to sit down and be quiet, but she forgets in about 2 seconds. Most of the teachers in there look at me when she does something funny, and I can tell they are trying to so hard not to laugh so that they won't encourage her or other kids to act up. They tell me after church that she is so cute, and has a huge personality. I don't want to give you guys the impression that she is a wild kid that acts like this all the time, because she can be quiet, but she just says what she thinks and is not shy. I have had some people tell me I should put her in an acting class. Maybe I should not let her have sugary cereal before church.

When I was little my dad used to say I was funny. He would call me the girl with a million jokes, and every time I would say something funny he would pretend to count them, and then I would have a million and three jokes. Cambria is the girl with a billion jokes, and I should write a book about the things she says. It would be very entertaining.

This week

I have been kinda bad at posting lately, but we don't do much during the day. We are just patiently waiting for spring to get here so we can go outside and play. This week it got up to 50 degrees a couple of days but then it snowed. So we try not to get our hopes up.

Cambria dresses like this a few times a week.
Ashlynn looks cute with pigtails.
This is what she looks like when the pigtails come out though...

Does anybody remember this kid?? Looks like Ashlynn learned to smile for the camera from Cambria. We went to our ward's cake auction last night for the scouts and when Cambria saw this cake she started telling everyone that that cake was made just for her. While we were eating she was crying and saying she needed to see her cake. We told her we didn't bring any money and she started crying louder and saying things like "daddy, do you think someone will buy it for me?" "hurry take me home so I can get my money", (which is in a piggy bank but it is only about 70 cents) and she was sobbing and so sad that someone might go home with that cake. I said it was going to cost a lot of money and she said she had 50 dollars and that we could have it for the cake. Well she was so sad and crying so hard because she "needed" that cake that Aaron went to get our checkbook. It turns out we didn't have to pay that much for it, and it helped out the scouts so oh well. It tasted pretty good too.
This is what we all look like at the end of the day.
Ashlynn has been busy standing up and trying to grow some teeth.
