Crazy Week

I haven't posted anything for a while because I went to Utah last weekend with Corey. We stayed at my grandpa's house there with my mom and we got to see our Aunts and Uncles. Then my mom got to come visit us for a whole week, so we have been busy. Beware, this is a long post! Here we are doing what we do best. I am glad all the cold weather went away while my mom was here, and it was warm every day. It finally feels like summer.
Yummy smoked ribs and grilled veggies. It makes my mouth water to look at these pictures! Yum!
We went up to the cabin on Sunday to relax and eat a bunch of really good food. Justin made the best dutch oven potatoes ever. We also had tin foil dinners and smores, of course.
We walked up to see an old abandoned cabin. It was kinda cool, until the mosquitoes started eating me and Brenna alive.
Corey up on the zip line. I am too chicken to do it because you have to go kinda high in a tree first.
My mom got to go to a couple of Cambria's games. Corey came to one. I am glad the weather finally got warm, but now it is hot!
If you look really close you can see her top tooth is coming in.
Brenna and Justin went to Jackson on Monday to go for a hike, so we decided to drive there and meet them for lunch, and then walk around and look but not buy anything because everything is so expensive there. I don't think you can go to Jackson and not take pictures under the antlers.
This was as close as she would get.
She was so excited for the candy store, well I was excited too. If you go to Jackson you should try the huckleberry fudge!
CANDY!
We all took turns sitting on this giant bear chair.

Look at Cambria's face, she did not like the bear.

Almost every night this week we have heard people doing fireworks outside, so we decided to do our own. Cambria loved them, but Ashlynn was yelling at them. It was fun because people were coming outside to watch and do their own.
Aaron made some delicious pulled pork on his new smoker he got himself for father's day. Notice the twilight plates and napkins :)
On our way to the midnight showing of Eclipse! Besides the girls in the hallway of the theater that had painted faces (yes some girls had painted scratched on their faces like they got clawed by the werewolves) and the stinky girl that was sitting next to me and breathing loudly, it was great!! We even wore our twilight shirts.

Happy Birthday Ash!

Yesterday was Ashlynn's birthday, she is a year old! The year went by so fast. She is a very smart baby, and of course I think she is cuter than anyone else's kid. She doesn't really say words but she says mama and dada and baba, and she kinda says ammya for Cambria. She can be kinda loud just like her big sister. She only has 2 teeth. She has been walking for a few weeks but she is still really shaky. She loves her new presents she got for her birthday and throws a huge fit when Cambria is touching them. Happy Birthday Ashlynn!!Thank you Sarah for taking the first 3 pictures. They are some of my favorite ones of Ashlynn!
These last 3 pictures are from Cambria's first birthday. I think they still look a lot alike, but also different. I feel like my kids are getting so old!

Ashlynn

Ashlynn got this toy on Sunday at her birthday party. If the yellow one hadn't fallen off she would have almost had it. My baby is a genius!!!

She has been walking around for a few weeks now but I have never got it on camera. She's cute!

Ashlynn's first birthday is on Wednesday so yesterday we had a family party in Blackfoot for her. She was tired and has had a cold so she wasn't really happy, but she liked the cake and her presents! I can't believe she is almost a year old!

She was so ready for bed after all the partying.
This is from her dance recital. She got roses, a ballerina statue and a bunch of suckers!
This morning Cambria had another tball game. It was only 9:30 in the morning but it was so hot outside! It was a perfect day to sit in the park and watch her.

Grilling

This is what I love about warm weather. Too bad it probably won't last, it is supposed to rain the rest of the week. We will enjoy it when we can!

Tball Game

Cambria had her first tball game yesterday. She did good when it was her turn to bat, except that she ran the wrong way!! You could tell though that most of the kids had no idea how to play. They have only had one practice and all they did was run around the bases, practice hitting and catching and throwing the ball. We forgot to tell her which way to run... it was fun to watch.
This was her second turn when she knew which way to go.
The kids would all scramble to get the ball but then they didn't know what to do with it. They all look so tiny.
She needs to work on throwing the ball...
Go Bulldogs!
