So now there is a blank space where it used to be. This room looks so blah. What can I do to dress it up a bit? I'm thinking curtains but with the blinds and sliding door I'm not sure how to do it.

maybe you just need to do a collage of colorful art on the wall behind the table. In an asymmetrical pattern so it doesn't look so "placed". Talk to Sarah she will know what I mean.
