We have been SUPER busy every Friday, Saturday, and any day in between where we had extra time, trying to fix up Aaron's grandmother's house in Firth so it could be sold. The house has not had any work done since the early 70's so we had to completely rip apart the inside. I wish i had taken before and after pictures so you could tell how much work we have done, it looks 110% different, but I didn't. We also spent a few days working in the backyard. We had to trim a bunch of trees and tear down 3 walls they had put up to enclose their porch where they had a hot tub. It was a lot of hard work and a bunch of trips to the dump. We had to fill in holes all over the walls and around the windows and then sand and paint everywhere. We also had to take off all cabinet doors and closet doors and sand and paint them because they had been varnished and so paint would not stick to them. Aaron and his dad put in this tile last week. It was hard because the floor is uneven all over and the rooms are not completely square. I used the electric sander on this and then repainted it. I think it looks really good! This is the kitchen, we had to do the same in here, sand everything and fill in holes, and we painted for days!!! There is still a bunch to do and a whole basement we haven't gotten to yet.
We are going to Lake Powell next month with Aaron's side of the family, so we got this for Cambria and when we got home with it we tried it on her and she loves it and now she won't take it off!
