No Baby Yet
At my appointment on Thursday nothing had changed. I was hurting really bad on Wednesday so I went to the doctor but they said it was just really bad back pain from the baby pushing and moving down. I am REALLY ready for her to come out now. We are all packed and ready to go to the hospital, but I could still have another week! Well my due date is Tuesday and my doctor said he won't let me go too far past that day. It just seems like it is taking forever.

As my grandma Crockett use to say, "it's has to get worse before it gets better..." I know, I didn't find much comfort in that statement either. Hang in there, it'll all be over soon. I'm sending you good thoughts....
In the olden days of not knowing the sex and no ultra sounds, the doctors didn't start you unless they were absolutely positive you were overdue. That usually meant almost a month overdue. I didn't have any of my kids on my due date. I went over from 1 week to 3 weeks. I only kept my sanity by not packing anything for the hospital until my due date. Hang in there she'll be so cute that it will be worth it.

P.S. My mom said someone was 3 weeks late, that was me. Now you don't have to wait that long.
I can't imagine going 3 weeks overdue. Im barely 40 weeks tomorrow and I feel like she should have come last week! My appointment today was the same, nothing changed. We are going to use the name Ashlynn Vayda. I can't decide whether to spell it vada or vayda.
